The South Western High School Alumni Plaza is designed to recognize every graduate of South Western High School. The Alumni Plaza recognizes graduates, staff, and honorary alumni. The Plaza is located next to the athletic field ticket booth. It is comprised of a brick-paved plaza lined with ivy, trees, and benches. Each brick is placed together with fellow classmates with the graduation year engraved on a center brick. Every 10 years is designated by a boundary of contrasting paving blocks with the decade indicated. The individual class brick is donated by each class. Each alumni brick is custom laser engraved and epoxy-filled.

The brick paver is a standard 8” x 4” brick with 3 lines and 15 characters maximum per line including spaces.

Please use proper names and only one name per brick. No nicknames, dates or titles allowed.

*Faculty Bricks*
Personalized bricks may now be purchased by both past and present members of the faculty, administration, support staff, and school board. Due to the amount of information included on these bricks, an 8x8 inch brick has been selected for use rather than the standard 4x8 inch brick.

This allows you to include the following:

  • Name (one or two lines)
  • Area of service (administration, faculty, department, elementary education, secretarial staff, cafeteria staff, maintenance staff, transportation, school board, etc.)
  • Building where you now teach or taught
  • For staff members now retired, years of service
